Bowo Short Film Festival rules
Welcome to the Bowo Short Film Festival! Here are our rules:
Eligibility:
1. The entries must be original short films, and the copyright holder has the full copyright.
2. Entries should not exceed 30 minutes, including the opening and closing credits.
Categories and topics:
1. Entries may cover a variety of themes and styles, including but not limited to: drama, comedy, documentary, animation, etc. .
Language & Subtitles:
1. For non-english dialogues, English subtitles should be provided.
2. English dialogue of the film, if there is dialect or accent, it is recommended to provide English subtitles for the audience to understand.
Submission format:
1. All entries must be submitted in HD (at least 720p) format.
2. It is recommended that you use an online submission platform or provide a download link to ensure that your videos are submitted efficiently.
Closing date and fee:
1. The deadline for submissions is 30 September each year.
2. There is no entry fee.
Judges and awards:
1. The jury will be based on creativity, execution, technology and overall quality of the film.
2. The winners will receive trophies and official certification, and the winning entries will be displayed on local and international platforms.
Copyright & Permissions:
1. Participants must ensure that their films do not infringe any third-party copyright or intellectual property rights.
2. The organizers have the right to use the entries for publicity and promotion without notice to the participants.
Other requirements:
1. Participants must agree to the organizer's final interpretation of the rules and agree to abide by all relevant rules of the competition.
